Pictures

Enjoying the grand 4th of July parade in Provo. My BIL Mike has been judging the floats in the parade for YEARS; thus, we always get sweet bleacher seats.

I have always been fascinated with hot air balloons. Thought this picture turned out pretty neat (especially when you are as untrained in photography as I am).

Another balloon shot. I liked that I got the traffic light in on the action.

My sister Mel and her family at the blessing of Brielle. Aren't her kids all so cute???

Couldn't resist a baby shot. I love how she is poking her tongue out.

I love the hot air balloons, too. If I could sit in the bleachers, I might actually consider going to the parade. As it is, I'm just not going to camp out for a spot and fight the crowds...

How fun for you to have cute nieces and nephews! It's great to be the cool aunt. A role I relish.

I really like that balloon one as well. I have never been to a big parade, they just don't seem all that great, but I am sure someday my kid will find out that they exist and it will all be over.

I am pretty much anti-parade because I'm not dedicated enough to sit in the sun. I do find myself strangely emotional at parades though. When we lived in Provo on 900 East the BYU Homecoming parade always went right by our house so we'd come outside for awhile to watch it and I'd always get choked up. I don't know if it's the music, the sense of community, jealousy for those who are part of something or what, maybe I'm just mental.

Cute Cute pictures!

Brielle looks so cute with her little tongue sticking out. I love seeing little babies, it makes me happy that mine aren't that little anymore. You sound like you are one terrific aunt, your nieces and nephews are so lucky to have you for their aunt.

We need to get together soon. Lou and I have been playing cards but it's not the same with out you guys!

I have great memories of going to the 4th of July parade in Provo every summer for as long as I can remember in childhood. I love your blog. You and Mark seem so much fun.

P.S. I wish that you were coming to the Singer's reunion; it's mostly people from your era who will be attending.
